So, funny story, one of my favorite musicians (a solo guitarist) friend requested me on FaceBook the other day. Bands do it all the time, so that's not the funny part. The funny part, and it's not even really that funny, is that after I accepted the friend request, he messaged me. He said, "I hope you don't mind me adding you. I just wanted to thank you for giving my song a good review. You look Irish, are you Irish?" Hrm... I'll be friggin' Japanese if it turns you on. Anywho, we got to chatting, via FaceBook messaging, and he turns out to be a pretty swell guy whichs makes being a fan of his music that much better. I had a silly-girl crush before talking with him, now, it's a raging-silly-girl crush. I can't help it... he's an amazing guitarist and seems to be a pretty decent guy... Oh, and he's got an Irish accent.
Yeah... I'm a little star-struck still too...
I'm just glad that this guy takes the time to acknowledge his fans and that he turns out to be an approachable, personalble guy. I can't get over it... eesch...
