I just can't help but get irritated when I read other people's blogs. Some even say, "I don't know why I write these. I reread them, and they're boring." Ok, great, so do us all a favor and safe some space on the internet for something mildly interesting. You already know you're boring, you're one step ahead of the game. Admitting that you're boring is the first step. The second: stop posting your garbage on the internet.
The "boo-hoo, my-life-is-pain, I'm-so-bored-with-everything," has got to stop! AH!
Everybody, I repeat, EVERBODY gets bored, mad, upset, lonely, aggrivated, frustrated, irritated, fed-up, and every other single fucking thing that one person can be or feel. You're not special, you're not being singled out, you're not interesting. Other people do things that they don't want to, get confused about life, get upset with parents and friends. Believe it or not, there are hundreds of millions of people going through the exact same thing that you are. Actually, most of those people probably have it much, much worse. Only you don't know about it because they aren't fortunate enough to have these little luxuries I like to call "computers" and the "interenet." Hmmm. I know it's tough to imagine someone that has bigger problems and woes than you, but these poeple are out there.
Boo Hoo on you. Go "suck a bag of dicks." Thank you, Lewis CK

Oh, those guitarists...
So, funny story, one of my favorite musicians (a solo guitarist) friend requested me on FaceBook the other day. Bands do it all the time, so that's not the funny part. The funny part, and it's not even really that funny, is that after I accepted the friend request, he messaged me. He said, "I hope you don't mind me adding you. I just wanted to thank you for giving my song a good review. You look Irish, are you Irish?" Hrm... I'll be friggin' Japanese if it turns you on. Anywho, we got to chatting, via FaceBook messaging, and he turns out to be a pretty swell guy whichs makes being a fan of his music that much better. I had a silly-girl crush before talking with him, now, it's a raging-silly-girl crush. I can't help it... he's an amazing guitarist and seems to be a pretty decent guy... Oh, and he's got an Irish accent.
Yeah... I'm a little star-struck still too...
I'm just glad that this guy takes the time to acknowledge his fans and that he turns out to be an approachable, personalble guy. I can't get over it... eesch...

Everyone else is doing it...
Apparently blogging is cool... one person does it, tells someone else about it, that person thinks it's cool, fun, neato to have their opions, views, thoughts, emotions, etc., posted online for everyone to see because they believe that what they think matters, and so on, and so forth. It's a vicious cycle really. So now, there are millions of uninteresting people posting their uninteresting junk online. I am one of them... now. It pains me, but it's true.
Why does blogging make you feel special? Well, obviously, you think that your words are so profound that people can't stop themselves from reading them. Their lives will change. Their problems will disappear. The trivial things that make their lives miserable will magically no longer irritate them. And you know why? Because you read a facsinating quote somewhere and wrote an entire fucking blog about what it means or how it touched your life or made you a better person. How about this one: Live life to the fullest, Carpe Diem!!!! .......... Have I changed your life yet?
People blog because they want to feel like people care about what they have to say. If no one ever reads this, I won't blame them. People blog because they think they have some profound lessons to teach others. If you're 50 or younger, you have nothing to teach anyone. And this "well, not to stereotype, but..."...... yeah, that's stereotyping. Genius. No one cares that you don't like yourself or you miss your boyfriend or that you fight with your parents or are jealous of your best friend. You're making drama for yourself because you like to complain... and you think it's iteresting for people to hear about your problems.
EUREKA! I HAVE AN IDEA!
I'll hide my roommates favorite shirt so that when she gets ready to go out this weekend and can't find her favorite shirt-of-all-time-ever to wear, she'll blame me! That'll make people sympathize and feel bad for me... They'll wanna hear about how horrid and wretched my life is. Then, my roommate and I will get into a huge arguement! She'll blame for taking her clothes, her laxatives (well, duh, who doesn't have an eating disorder nowadays), and her last 10 boyfriends (read, "random hookups"). *GASP* and then I get to come back to blogger.com and write all about it... and people will read it... and they'll not believe what they're reading... and I'll seem interesting!!!!
please
Write about something, dare I say, intelligent? Actually interesting? Genuinely thoughtful? Edgey?
How about a 21 year-old, chain smoker with tattoo's, piercings, dyed hair, a 3.8GPA in college, president of her department, who can drink two bottles of wine a night and has a full-time 6 month Co-Op with one of the worlds largest food manufacturers under her belt. She loves heavy metal, rock, classical music, jam music, jazz, and the occasional alternative band. Hates most people but absolutely adores a select few. One of her best friends is a tarantula and the other, a guinea pig. Loves all things food, wine, and travel.
Sound like an interesting person to a vast majority of people? Didn't think so.
